"People may doubt what you say, but they will believe what you do."

A famous line from Lewis Cass that I can say will best describe what happen to the controversial Margarita “Margie” Juico. According to the latest news, Margie proves to her detractors that they are wrong. PNoy is very happy that she appointed Margie as the new Chairperson of PCSO; he never regrets his decision of having her as the head of this agency which in the past administration where thrown a lot of anomalies and controversies.

Margie always believes “Performance is the best PR”, recently she reported to Malacanang the reforms done to PCSO that eventually show positive results. On the first quarter of this year, sales from the three-online games of PCSO increased.

Based on her records, STL, Keno game and lotto increased its sales in the beginning of this year. This means a lot of indigent patients, children with chronic conditions and the poor people will receive medical assistance and basic social services from PCSO.

The controversial transfer of PCSO to PICC also saved money from its rent; from P2.4 million, down to P1.9 million. Even for advertising/PR budget for PCSO had been reduced to P500 million per year. The unpaid accounts of PCSO during the Arroyo’s administration had been settled to BIR as well.

“Sound professional management, high employee morale and focused vision on the PCSO mission are among the factors that made this happen. We are committed to P-Noy’s vision to transform the agency into a vital and effective arm for the welfare of the poor,” Margie said in her report.

Let us hope and pray that under Margie’s supervision, reforms for PCSO will continue for the betterment of the agency and continuous increase of sales from the three-online games for the agency to help more people in need of medical assistance.

Good job, I salute you MARGIE!
